Since we launched Atlas FLX over a year ago, we’ve wanted it to be more than just our own notes; it should reflect the experiences of many travelers. That’s why we’re excited to launch a new feature: Contributor Reviews!
Do you love exploring Finger Lakes wineries like we do? We need your help! Atlas FLX is now accepting volunteer contributors to share winery reviews, photos, and insights from your visits. No deadlines, no pressure, just a chance to make wine touring easier and more useful for everyone. Apply to become a Contributor.

In the charming village of Aurora, Constantia Wine Company has opened a permanent home after years of making wine without a dedicated space. They’re producing thoughtful, high-quality dry wines, with standouts across both whites and reds. It’s an exciting addition to the Cayuga Lake region, and one we recommend putting on your list to visit soon.

Cane & Vine opened in summer 2025 just outside Geneva, near Bellhurst Castle and White Springs. It’s a new venture from an experienced Finger Lakes winemaker, and we had the chance to stop in last month. The tasting room is spacious and welcoming, and it’s always great to have a tasting with the owner. Food will be part of the experience soon, with very unique chimney cakes, a traditional Hungarian pastry, planned for the menu.

Opened in summer 2025, Either Oar is located in the former Penguin Bay Winery space on Route 414. The Martin family, also owners of Montezuma, Idol Ridge, and Swedish Hill, purchased and renovated the site, now offering wine and cheese flights along with whiskey cocktail tastings. We haven’t visited the new space yet, but if you go, consider contributing a review and photos to help other travelers!
